Default Carbohydrate VS Blood Glucose

If someone ate 10g of carbs and it raised BG 10 points one hour later, would 20g of carbs raise BG 20 points one hour later? (assume nothing else is consumed and activity and everything else is same in both scenarios)

I think the carbs-glucose-time relationship has a lot to do with
the Glycemic index/load of the carbs consumed.Regarding your
question,I think if the 10G and 20G of carbs were derived from
the same food source that 20G would raise your blood glucose
twice as much as the 10G.This is a guess but I'm not sure.
For a person that produces a limited amount of insulin in response to the carb challenge,I guess it's possible that 20G might raise BG more than twice as much as 10G.I don't think
insulin resistance would affect the ratio. This is a more complex
question than I originally thought.
Hmmm.....

Eddie - as always a thoughtful answer. For me the constant answer on food, exercise, and insulin seems to be "It depends". And looking over my diary no obvious correlative let alone causal relationship jumps out. I have become the compeat empiricist regarding the whole thing. I used to try.
