Question Soy Sauce is safe or not?

Hi, all.

I just searched the internet and read this about the unsafety about soy sauce. I am not sure about it. I consume much soy sauce every day.

Check out the book "The Whole Soy Story" for information on soy. If you google around she has a website. Soy is a highly allergic food and can have negative effects (or is it affects) on your thyroid. I'm allergic to it and my throat closes up when I eat it. Some may have no problems.

I don't use regular soy sauce due to the wheat they put in it, I use wheat-free tamari instead. However, I'm not a huge soy consumer so I don't feel a small amount of fermented soy is a big issue most of the time.

Usually has too much sugar and contains wheat, so if I'm having teryaki, I'd make it myself and use tamari and substitute something for the sugar.
