Default Dropped 70 lbs...feelin' gr8

I would just like to start out by thanking all of you for all your help. I also would like to send a message to all of those thinking of quitting, TRUST ME DON'T GIVE UP. Honestly if I can lose so can you. I used to be the biggest laziest carb junky ever. When I first started this I thought I was literally going to die from the withdrawals and just the total lifestyle change. I would say that once you reach a certain level there is no turning back. (I mean LCing that is) I have honestly wept tears of joy today. I weighed in at 245 for the 3rd day in a row. I no longer have to squeeze into my clothes, or tell my little girl that I am too tired to play with her. I think that a lot of the problems that people have are that they try too hard. After the first 2 months I threw out the Ketostix. It just made me crazy not to see purple. Just don't worry if you go a couple of weeks with no weight loss, it will come off in time. I think that one has to get to a state of mental well being with this. I mean quit worrying about losing. Just let nature take it's course, and it will. I just wanted to say thanks and give you a list of my food intake and suplements. Oh by the way I think that the most vital tool that we have is WATER. The more you drink, the more you flush the fat out.

suplements
Daily multi-vitamin 3xdaily
L-glutamine 3xdaily
Vitamin C 3xdaily
Flax seed oil 1xday
Biotin 1xday
Potassium 1xdaily
Chromium picolinate 1xdaily

Average meals
b-fast
3egg omelet (sausage or bacon, cheese, onions, and salsa on top)
coffee with dry creamer
1bottle of water

lunch
pepperoni and cheese
tuna salad
peanuts/almonds
2 bottles of water

snacks
almonds
peanuts
moz. cheese sticks
more water

dinner
lots of unbreaded chicken wings (my favorite)
brocolli/cauliflower/green beans
maybe a diet rite soda/or 2bottles of water

i drink about 15 bottles of water daily. aroud 300oz

I hope that this may help someone. Because when I first started I loved it when someone would give their advice.
Once again thanks
Brian

Brian,

First let me congratulate you on your overwelming accomplishment.

Second, thank you so much for sharing your story with us. It is something the mentors, admins, and moderators try and tell people every day. We start sounding like broken records after a while, but thanks to people like you that can come forward and say "hey it does work!" means everything in the world to us.

It is a mental thing. People do try to hard. They do set themselves up for failure from the get go. What I have seen is people coming in with the attitude of "I am giving this 3 weeks and if it doesn't work I am moving on to the next diet". They fail to learn anything with their impatience. I read the frustration and sometimes I wonder where the fire is....were they in this big of hurry to gain weight as they are to lose? *shrugs*

I am with you. This is so much a way of life, and a very comfortable one at that. One that you can eat lavish foods, feel great, be happy and lose the weight.

Again congrats on your achievement

for motivating us to keep going. You must feel wonderful, congrats. So, what have you done with your little girl that you were unable to do before the weight loss? I can hardly wait to go running with my daughter, I think about that all the time.

Thumbs up Congrats!

Way to go! I am really proud of you.

To be honest, I have been wondering if this is going to work for me. Sometimes it seems that I go one step forward and two steps back. Just when it seems I have conquered one eating issue, another steps in to take it's place.

You are truly an inspiration, and I hope that one day soon, I will be able to do the same.
