How about the old standard snacks for dieters, celery sticks and raw vegetables you can still have those on Atkins and they are far less caloric than the cheese and bacon. There's no sense eating so much of those if you don't feel good about it and you're right, they are (for many people) fattening foods IF you eat too much of them. Bacon is also almost nutritionally empty, there's hardly anything in it that will do good things for your body. Did you ever notice how it smells so much better than it tastes
