Default Week 2 - Atkins Induction!

I was so frustrated with Weight Watchers. I kept failing because I would try to eat carbs and then of course my cravings would take over and by the end of the day I wasn't counting points. So I thought I would try Atkins. It's week 2 and so far I have lost 5 pounds. Yea!

I had to go to the hospital with my daughter this past Sat. I was by myself and had only the kids graham crackers in my bag so I'm sure I booted myself out of ketosis for a day. But I got right back on and am hoping for another great weight in this Friday.

I host a Future MILF weight loss group on my blog. Believe me, the expression is used in great humor. We don't take ourselves seriously, but we post our weigh in every Friday to keep each other motivated.

That's all for now!

A lady I work with started WW just shortly after I started Atkins. Our stats are very simular. After 4months, I have more than doubled what she has lost. I am very strict with atkins. I'm not real sure how strict she has been. But it's the results that prove to me that Atkins is the only way. She has made the comment that she might try doing Atkins.
BTW, welcome to the forum and good luck with your weight loss.

Thanks all! The weight loss in week 2 is slowing down a bit. The first week I lost 5 pounds and this week I think it will only be 2 pounds. Seems like that is kind of slow for induction week. I think i know the culprit too. I cheated and ate some of those Russell Stower candies. I figured they were like .08 grams of carbs so how bad could it be as long as I stayed under my 20 carbs for the day. But it seems like it's slowing things down.
