Default The three minutes chocolate cake.

The three minutes chocolate cake.
I made one with sugar for my husband because he hates the taste of Splenda.
I made one for myself with Splenda and I made one with an added 2 TBS of ground flax,
And, I made another one for myself with 2 TBS of Pork rinds.

Guess which one is the best looking one? I cannot do the taste test right now. I have to wait until supper time

Okay. I'll "bite". I'll guess the best looking one is the one with the pork rinds.

You win the car.
I could not stay away so I did have a tiny taste of each sugar free ones. Alas! The pork rind one while beautiful was the only one where I had completely forgotten to add the sweetener.
Now I have to make it again.

The pork rind cake has the finest texture. I found the taste similar for all. It was also the lightest. The flax was the heaviest. The unsweetened one was vile.
Even my husband (the liar) who professes to live with little sugar could not stomach it.

Here it is.

3 Minute Cake

1/4 cup almond flour ( I only had ground almonds, so used that)
1T Cocoa powder
1/4 t baking powder
4-5 packets Splenda

2T melted butter
1T water, or SF syrup ( I used DaVinci choc)
1 egg

In a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup, mix all the dry ingredients. Mix the melted butter with the egg and the SF syrup ~ add to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap ... make small slit in wrap, with a knife to vent. Microwave on high for about 1 minute, 10 sec. Adjust as needed for your micro. When it comes out it looks a bit wet, but drys as it cools.
