Default Day 4 - What's wrong? No Induction flu?

I was doing just low carb induction ala Atkins, then read an M & E posting. I then started M & E only.
Days 1 and 2 I ate meat and eggs and salad and 1 serving almonds (whoops). I overlooked leaving almonds and cheese out of induction.
I felt a little irritable, had a SLIGHT headache and a little achy. Not as bad as the last time I tried. No cheating except almonds.

Day 3 & 4 I ate meat and eggs. Drank lots of water. No cheating.

I've felt great throughout the last four days! Worked out, no problems.

I've lost almost 4 pounds but I'm wondering, when will the induction flu start? Last time I tried it, it was BAD! Am I still working off the glucose in my liver? Has anyone had experience with NOT GETTING INDUCTION FLU?

Is it coming, and going to be BAAAAAD?

I haven't had the induction flu either... but then again I'm only on day 3. I've done Atkins before though, maybe that has something to do with it.

I wish I was more helpful, but if you're sticking to the rules, maybe it's a good thing that you aren't getting the flu ;-)

Good Luck!

You may not experience the Induction Flu at all. What you might experience, though, is a temporary weight gain as you try to reintroduce carbs into your diet. This is not a "fact." Everyone reacts differently, so it's just a guess on my part based on several posts I've read over the months. It might not affect you adversly in any way.

I've never had induction flu...I'm not even sure what it is! I feel better by lunchtime of the first day whenever I started LCing.

If you haven't yet had induction flu, you probably won't. Not everyone gets it. I never did.

I just got over the induction flu. It's not nearly as bad as the first time I tried atkins. This is the second day that I felt better. Just a very mild headache the first 3 days, andfeeling sick to my stomach pretty much all day. Delightful, but oh so worth it.
