...is quite possibly THE most disgusting chocolate ever confected by human hands.

Run. Run away. Run as far as your little legs will take you.

Oh blughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Excuse me while I go find a vegetable brush so I can try to scrape this taste off my tongue.

LOL, it is an acquired taste! .... but as you will probably begin to lose your taste for 'sweet' things following a SB woe, you'll probably find that you start to quite like it.

I adore it, and usually have one square with my espresso after dinner.

You all are talking about the 85%? Are you sure???

I'll tell you what. You all can come over and split the rest of mine! If I want cocoa I'll just add cocoa to my yogurt. It's the cocoa that has the "good for you" properties anyway, not the sugar. Which, by the way, completely set me off last night. I can't believe I didn't gain any weight. It wasn't even like I "wanted" carbs. It was like I "had to" have them. My head was buzzing. It was the most awful feeling ever. So from now on I think I'll stick to my yogurt and cocoa.

Hahaha! Did you just take a bite out of it? I found that if you nibble it at first, preferably with coffee, it doesn't seem quite so bitter. We just bought a pound of it, since it was on sale and is only available about 3 hours away from us. We eat a square each, every few days.

Whoa!! 3 hours to buy dark chocolate!! Thats quite a drive!!

I take a small bite and force myself to allow it to melt in my mouth.

It takes longer and is deeply satisfying this way.

I'm with you, I just got a bar of it and it's wonderful. I too took a square or two, and took small bites, letting each bite slowly melt in my mouth. Problem is, after 1-2 squares, I wanted more lol

Still stalling. I woke up yesterday back down to 222.5 but this morning was back at 224.5 :-(

While I'm perfect during the week, it's been really hard not to go out and have a few beers at least once every 2 weeks. It's difficult being a 20 something and not drinking or eating the good foods. Particularly going to a bar, and not getting beer or fries or nachos. During lunchtime I'm fine - but when just relaxing and hanging out - it's torture, especially when you're not losing :-(

So I suppose this means that you had a few cold ones with your buddies?

If this is true...and I'm not judging you at all....then this is not a stall...it is from you drinking beer!!

Get through one weekend totally clean and you will see it move!!

I used to pretend that I had a glass with liquor in it when it was only club soda with lime!! and I got a buzz!!

We live in rural Hokkaido, so we make the drive about once a month (or more, lately, since the winter seems determined to never be over.) Dark chocolate is pretty popular here in Japan--you can find 86%, 88% and 99% from Japanese candy makers in most grocery stores. The Lindt, however, is *much* better.
