Default Had a third snack

Oh god, I just couldn't stand it. I was SO hungry tonight. I did have my two snacks today. But now (8:30 PM) I just had two boiled eggs. I mean I was about to eat my own hand.

Have I blown it?

Nope...you didn't blow it at all!! You did well having HB eggs. I eat them as a snack all the time but I will have only 1 egg as I find them very filling.

The good thing about this food plan as that it tells us that when we are hungry, to eat!! I keep a tupperware in my fridge filled with cooked chicken or turkey breast cutlets...I always have a good lean protein source to eat.

What and how much did you have for dinner that left you so hungry at 8:30 pm?

Thanks, Judy. That's the silly thing--it isn't like I didn't eat anything. I had chicken chili (heavy on the tomatos, lighter on the chicken and beans) (one bowl), cauliflower (I think four florettes), homemade cole slaw (I don't know--3 oz.?) and a SF Jell-O.

I'm not sure why I'm so hungry.

Thanks for the help!

...Maybe it's because I still breastfeed several times a day? Perhaps that's what's making me so hungry. Although I don't believe that old formula that says to add 500 calories a day for breastfeeding. I feel that's a little high.

Oh, yeah. Breastfeeding could totally do it. I remember feeling famished when I was nursing. And thirsty all the time, too! I'm with Judy--when you're hungry, eat something on plan. If you let true hunger be your guide, you won't overindulge. Some nights, I just have to have something else even after I've eaten my dinner; and I'm NOT nursing! LOL...

I think that your dinner required more protein. Its good that you ate the 2 eggs then!!
