Default tofu in induction?

I need to do a couple weeks of induction for the first time in a few years - have lost 50 lbs in about 5 years and kept it off! We all know that's the big part. Would like to do another 50.

I don't see that tofu is listed in the induction approved foods, but I seem to recall that it actually is ok. And it seems logical that it might be.

Post or email direct answer will be greatly appreciated.

Julie

I'm pretty sure it's ok in the later editions, you just have to count the carbs in your daily total.

The official Atkins website lists tofu at over 7grams of carbs per 1 oz. but I couldn't find out if you said anything about induction.

From the 'cheese' section of the allowed foods list in DANDR 2002
Quote:
Imitation cheese products are not allowed, except for soy or rice cheese but check the carbohydrate content.
tofu used to be called 'soy cheese'
