Default I did it!

My oldest stepson is living with a young lady. We were invited to have Thanksgiving there. I cooked the turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and fudge. My DD and I rode our bikes to their house 8.5 miles. We ate, visited and had a great time and then turned around and rode our bikes 8.5 miles back home. We had two large hills along the way. My quads are still feeling the effects, but since the gym was closed today and the weather was nice it was a great ride. I was pretty good at the meal. I had turkey, ham, green beans, 2 TBLS of stuffing (bad), and a tiny piece of fudge (bad again). The bike ride was great, though!

Way 2 go!!!
I think 17 miles on a bike is pennance enough for a taste of stuffing and a piece of fudge.
Doesn't it feel awesome to beat the carb demon?!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Agreed on the penance comment. You should feel WONDERFUL about your day! I felt a little like that when we were in SC last week. We biked FAR down the beach (in sand, tough) and then back on the road...and I kept things LC. Your day was even more impressive!

Default I'm psyched too.

No exercise for me today, but I ate antipasto, turkey with a bit of gravy and some cheesecake. Yum, yum. I made fresh whipped cream with splenda on top as well Very yummy. So glad I was able to stick to the diet!

My exercise involved walking back and forth across the kitchen, running to the basement for things, back up to the kitchen, lifting a 17 pound turkey, running upstairs to escape my Mom and Sister who were fighting, running back downstairs to make sure they were ok, and then cleaning up after the whole crew ate and left! Ahhh...the holidays. LOL
