Default Confessions of a Birthday Girl

Ok, my b'day was yesterday and my boyfriend's was 10/19. We went away from Thurs. until Sun. and since he is lcing too we decided all bets were off for the weekend. We ate out every night but Sunday was the worst! We over carbbed and boy did we pay for it! I felt like crap for the rest of the day.

Back on the diet very strict as of yesterday and the 4 lbs. I gained over the weekend have started to decline already. This a.m. down 2 lbs.

Actually, except for Sun., I wouldn't have changed a thing. We enjoyed our weekend and can now laugh about it and how we gorged ouselves.

Live and learn!!!!!

Jules

Sorry you had to go through that. It might have been fun to see how well the two of you could eat out together without going off plan. Maybe next time. It's great that you have the support of your bf. Wishing you the best.

Sorry, didn't explain very well. We have gone out to dinner quite a bit and not cheated. Just that it was our b'days and we decided to really celebrate.

I do the same thing Jules. I won't eat cake for other people's birthdays, but for my own - definitely! My b-day is a off diet day. Maybe if I had a bf I might for his, too.

Three things to remember:

1. Both your birthdays are in the same week, and that's much better than six months apart.

2. It doesn't happen again for another year.

3. You learned a valuable lesson that you couldn't get any other way.

Just carry on as if it never happened. You can't go back and undo any of it, so just put everything out of your mind except all the fun you had that wasn't carb related, and how bad you felt after eating all that stuff. Better luck next year!

Sunny!

Happy Belated Birthday!!!

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. Having the occasional cheat day reminds you how great a LC lifestyle is
