Default From here to maternity!

Or, well, the other way around... Hi girls! How is everybody? I'm baaaaaaaaack...back on CAD/CALP. I'm breastfeeding but I think this WOE should be okay for breastfeeding.

During my pregnancy I got up to (drumroll please) 215 pounds. Yes...that's right! I am five weeks postpartum now. I have lost 40 pounds so far. I want to lose another 40.

Here is my 5 weeks postpartum body:

...and here is my 5 weeks postpartum baby.

Evan Dane, born June 9th, 2006, weighing 7 lbs., 14 oz.; currently around 10.5 lbs. We love him so much. He is such a sweet, sweet angel.

Ohhh, little Evan is so cute...and alert too. Welcome back. I see no reason you cannot do this, but you should check Zuleika's vitamin D and Calcium protocols so you do not lose calcium from breast feeding. I have been doing Fitday and putting in what I eat to check my nutrition...and I am always under on Folate, Calcium, Vit D, and a few other things. I would supplement with your prenatal vit, for starters.

Oooh. Thanks for the heads-up, Mirielle. I will check out those vitamin requirements. I guess the calcium goes double for me since I've eliminated cow dairy from my diet--it was making Evan colic-ey.

He's beautiful, Mel, but I can't see the pic of you. You've lost 40 lbs already? WOW! That is great! Keep up the good work!
