Default Me at 155. Can I live with it?

I guess I'll have to. I don't know what happened but somewhere along the line I lost control. Or my groove. Or something. I do just fine, get down to 153-ish, then overeat and get back up to 155. Still...that's a 20-lb. weight loss. No small potatoes.

I may just have to accept myself in a new way. That wouldn't be so bad, right? Anyway, I've been hiding from here due to personal stuff (sad stuff) plus my own embarrassment but I do still love CAD and I miss you girls so much...so I'm back...

Hugs,

Mel

20 lbs is great! So glad you are back. You know when you go through sad stuff (I'm sorry you are), the body chemistry, metabolism, etc. changes a bit and makes it very hard to lose weight. In fact, one usually gains weight. So hang in there, the time will come when you will lose again most likely. Just try very hard to maintain for quite a while now, but do come and post for loving support.

Hey, Mel, good to have you back..we've missed you terribly! Hope things are getting better for you!
You know, you're great the way you are, body size is only one facet of a person, it's not everything...just get through this sad time first and deal with everything else later.
Hugs,
Mary-Ann

Hey Mel

I am so selfish, I am soooo happy to see you back. You look great! Really! You know my struggle and how I am hovering around the same numbers for well over 4 mths now. I don't know if I will ever break into the 140's but I look back from where I came and I know I don't ever want to go back there. So if I am stuck here.... I am much happier here than where I was. 20 lbs is awesome! You have done fabulous and I know you will continue to do so. Just give you body some time to adjust. (((big hugs)))

Hey! I never even saw this till now. I guess I should check out the main forum more often.

From what I can tell in that picture, you look great. Good to see you!

And of course, I'm happy you're back. YAHOO! Just hang in there. You're even more impatient than me! It's okay to go slowly. We'll be slow like turtles.
