Way to go on the eating! You might want to remember veggies though...eat low carb ones that will give you much needed nutrients, but will flush through your body quickly!

Misscali, well done!! I'm proud of myself for almost the same thing! I went to a birthday (she's about 80 now) at an all-you-can-eat. Tried my best to not look like a freak considering I've been pretty much vegetarian all my life .. just cos I think they taste way better than meat! Anyway, headed straight for the roast section, piled my plate with chicken (the unbreaded ones - man there were lots of different types of chicken!), beef and a bit of pork crackling. Then my seconds (I couldn't have gone without seconds) was some more chicken with a green salad. Then for dessert .. urgh this was the hard part and I KNEW people were looking at my plate, I'm a lot smaller than I used to be after all.... I grabbed a piece of choc mudcake in a little cupcake paper thingy, emptied it out then put the empty container on my plate and pretended I ate it. Okay, so this wasn't the most proud moment of my day out, but I would've had people going and getting the dessert for me if I hadn't!

Oh and for my dad's birthday, I've offered for my parents to come over to my house and I'll cook them dinner. Little do they know, it'll all be lc. Muhhahahaha ...

Well done, me too, its so hard, but then i thought, if i give in now, its a behaviour pattern within me that'l let me down eveytime.
i had my sister snd her boyfriends now and they were all munching on pizzas and two plates full of varied krispy cremes..soooooooooo nice, it was so hard, but i kept to low carb and woke up this morning lighter and feeling great...if u think about it krispy cremes are just 'over hyped' flour, dough and sugar...

misscali, i would not suggest going on the meat/egg fast. like it says in the book, it is used for extreme cases of no weight loss. i urge you to continue with induction and not resort to such drastic measures so soon.

klc145, I think you may be confusing the meat/egg fast with Dr. Atkins Fat fast. The meat/egg fast is not part of any published plan.
Either way, I agree that it's unnecessary to do something that extreme because someone ate a small piece of chicken that might have had a few carbs in it.
MissCali, please be careful of the type of thinking that wants to do extreme overcorrections for small errors. If you happen to make a small mistake, simply get back on track with the next thing you eat and carry on. No need to punish yourself by going to extremes in the opposite direction if you happen to eat a few more grams of carb than planned.

Oops! I am confusing it with the Fat Fast. But still, when you have only been LCing for 5 days and already going to extreme measures, youre not even giving it a chance to work for your body. IMO.
