Default rotisserie exp?

Our oven has been broken for awhile...just plain refuses to heat and it being hot outside, I don't much care to heat up the kitchen anyway. The burners still work and we have a crockpot and the weber charcoal grill outdoors.

So....I was delighted by finding a really cheap brand new Sunbeam rotisserie (think of those luscious foods on the infomercials). HOWEVER I'm thinking that it is only going to be "luscious" with certain marbled cuts of meat...Anyone out there tried it and liked it...or not? Share your exp and recipes with me!!!!! Terry

The rotisserie is one of the best things I've ever gotten for the kitchen, esp for this wol. Makes it so easy to have delicious dinners w/minimal prep. Chicken, lamb, roast beef turned out great. Terry

Flower, that sounds so yummy! And versatile too. Maybe I can get one once I move into a bigger place (my teeny tiny apartment kitchen is filled to capacity!).

Default yummy ribs

Just got some beef ribs for just $1.99 a pound. Slathered them w/a mixture of olive oil/butter/herbs and LOTS of garlic and a little sea salt. After letting them sit awhile, I popped them on the table top rotisserie and about 30 minutes into cooking, brushed them w/apple cider vinegar and turned them. SO good and tender.... Terry

Hi,
I wonder if I could set up a rotisserie on my weber bbq grill? It sounds nice. Does it have the same effect as the beer can chicken style recipes?

I used the 'George Foreman' rotisserie for a few years and it was 'ok'. I got 'Nu-wave Oven Pro' and find it more versatile and seems to roast up a chicken just as well as the rotisserie.

The OvenPro sounds like a nice machine. I'll have to keep an eye open at the thrift store! I checked it out on epinions to see what people's opinions were of it. T

I have a Showtime rotisserie that I bought off eBay. I got the extra large model because I have 3 teenagers! We grill in the summer, but the rotisserie becomes my "grill" in the winter! It's absolutely wonderful! I've done everything from hamburgers to pork roast to chicken - and last year I even did my Thanksgiving turkey in it!
