I have a question, about my breakfast here at work, I'm doing Atkins and i'm in the induction now week 2, I eat an omlette almost everyday in the morning at work, it's made from powdered eggs, and has Chicken sausage, and Mozz cheese
any idea on carb count ? is this too much for me(even though i don't have to eat lunch on the days i eat the omlette as I'm still fullall day)

I would guess that you are getting 5 or less carbs from that meal. Gotta tell you, it doesn't sound all that good. Give me good ol' pork sausage and fresh eggs, and maybe some baby swiss or a longhorn colby. I had a mushroom, onion, green/red/yellow pepper, colby and ham omelette this morning.

And you also shouldn't be skipping lunch.

"Gotta tell you, it doesn't sound all that good"
yeah, but it;s the best we got here at work.

"And you also shouldn't be skipping lunch."
I know, but the omlette is so big i'm just not hungry, should I force myself to eat lunch?? if so i will, please let me know.
also does anyone have a link for online lists of foods/condiments, and their carb contents? that would help a lot for me with hidden sugar/carbs.
thanks for being supportive!

Not make yourself, but yes you need to eat. I don't have my book with me, but I think it states every 4-5 hours you need to eat. Try this for carb counts www.carbohydrate-counter.org

The carb gram counter at atkins.com is what I used.

And I wouldn't eat if I wasn't hungry. Although you might want to have a snack mid-afternoon, so you don't have to eat as big an evening meal. Some nuts or something with some fat in it, would keep you from going heavy at supper. I assume you are pretty hungry by suppertime?

And sorry for making fun of your breakfast. How is chicken sausage anyway? I've never seen this product.
