Does anyone know of any good low carb frosting recipes? I searched the recipe forum but didn't find any. It is for a LC chocolate cake.

I found this on the Atkins website. Never tried it myself, but it sounds yummy!

Btw, here's the nutritional info for that recipe:

Servings: 8
Prep time: 10 minutes


Carbohydrates: 3.5 grams
Net Carbs: 2 grams
Fiber: 1.5 grams
Protein: 1 grams
Fat: 19 grams

Thanks Coco!! My sister wants to bake me a low carb cake for my bday next weekend so I told her I would pick out what I wanted! That frosting sounds yummie!

I tried it and it didn't turn out too good...better for me because I would have eaten the whole thing without cake if it did

I made the mistake of using regular salted butter, not thinking it would matter. Boy was I wrong. It was like eating a good cake that someone poured salt all over. Yuck! I'm sure if I had used the unsalted butter it would have been fine. Annie
