Thumbs up Spicy Asian Grilled Shrimp

Yield 10 servings

2 1/4 pounds peeled, butterflied shrimp
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons Chinese Five-Spice Powder
1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil ( the roasted kind is even better)

1. Combine the shrimp with the remaining ingredients and marinate under refrigeration for at least 1 hour.

2. For each serving: Shake the excess marinade from 3 1/2 ounces of the shrimp and grill until thoroughly cooked, about 2 minutes on each side.

Working as a personal and private chef, my clients go crazy for this dish.

I hope you will to.

1 gram of carbohydrates
16 grams of protein

Bon Appetit

Fern....your most likely place to find fish sauce is in Asian specialty stores. Some major grocery chains carry it as well; in the large grocery store in my area it's found in the ethnic food isle.
