Alot of BFL people swear by doing that with cottage cheese and strawberries. Someone said it was like cheesecake, but I wouldn't go that far.

Haha I actually got the idea of blending it up from BFL website in the recipe section. I was addicted to cottage cheese before (usually 1 1/2 cups a day!!!) but now I could REALLY eat it all day! Haha along with the 3 tablespoons of pb I just ate out of the jar I am a very stuffed girl. Goodness, TRYING not to feel guilty and wishing I didnt eat all of that!

I remember back in the 70's, when I was doing Adkins for the first time, there was a recipe for cheesecake made from cottage cheese. I remember that it was very good. I dont have the recipe, but I wish I did.

Default I found it!

I found the recipe you were wishing for - it was in the illegal section of the old Atkins Diet Rev. book, but, as the recipe says, not fattening or imoral!!
Here goes: Your favorite cheesecake
6 eggs
2 tbls lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla
4 tsp soft margarine or oil
Artificial sweetener containing cyclamates equivalent to 30 tsp. sugar
Preheat oven to 350 deg. F
Have all ingredients at room temp.
Put ingredients into blender and blend thoroughly, then gradually add:
32 oz. (l quart) cottage or pot cheese
Blend until smooth
Pour into a long narrow pan such as a loaf pan to ensure against falling
Top with cinnamon if desired
Bake for about 45 minutes or until firm
Turn off oven and leave cheese cake there with door open for about l hour
Then chill - overnight best.
No Cal brand syrups can be added for flavors
Note: Tastes best with cyclamates but they were taken off the market. Maybe Splenda will be ok.
Hope this is what you were looking for. Mary Laczkoskie

chubybuddy, It is a possibility, yes, but the neat thing about this was you could use cottage cheese instead of cream cheese. Mary L
