Default Atkins new anti-sugar ad on TV

I saw a great Atkins ad today on cable, CNN.

It shows people drinking glasses of sugar, blowing candles off of a cake that's made entirelyt of sugar powder, and a poor guy at a vending machine being drowned in sugar. And the commentary lists some statistics on increased sugar consumption.

The imagery was so powerful. It's truely a memorable ad.

Will try to locate a transcript, but keep an eye for it, it's well worth it

I saw it too, I think the figure was 157 pounds of sugar a year. Per person.
Very striking images, I loved it!

Thumbs up Atkins commercial

Hello!

I would very much like to get a copy of those commercials. I am currently researching a documentary on the evils of sugar for CBC in Canada, and it would be great to find out who the advertising firm is behind the commercials. I also checked the Atkins website in the press releases but there is no mention of the ad campaign.

If you tape the commercials and stream them, would it be possible to send me that link (quicktime would be great). I would like to see if we can use the commercials in our documentary.

Thanks very much!

I am glad Atkins are doing these commercials. I will be even glader if they (Atkins) stop producing all the junk food they produce containing all sorts of chemicals, sugar alcohols, soy proteins, etc. which are not good for you either in the long run.
