Do you know what the products are baked with to bring their carb counts down? I'm asking because I'm on the Somersizing WOE and can't have white flour or sugar.

Got to go check it out today...bought a loaf of bread (3.3 g of carbs per slice)...will have it with eggs and ham for breakfast tomorrow.....and 6 almond cookies (tasty) and 6 peanut butter cookies (so-so)....what did you think of the pizza crust??? I looked at it but wasn't sure about it....we use pillsbury pizza crust in the roll and roll it thin and bake on a pizza stone....makes 2 big pizzas and not too filling and gross when you're done eating it....Thanks for the heads up on the bake shop!!

I went there this past weekend too. Bought buns and 2 kinds of cookies: almond scone cookies and peanut butter. I loved both types, but esp the almond scone ones which resembled Scottish oat cakes. Re the buns, I stupidly put them on top of the fridge and forgot about them. When I next remembered, a few days had passed and they were all mouldy... Grrrrrr

As of tomorrow (Saturday) the bakery will become another Low Carb Center (as in North Van). Same stock, same prices - and they will also do all the baking for the stores. I may take a run over there to check it out again. We'll see.
