well, it does sound like reasonable plan, Penni. I don't know what to do, either.

there's something kinda cool about going out to eat and getting a big steak and caesar, and still losing weight. for me, it's harder to feel satisfied on low fat diets, and I can't stick with it.

Not sure what I'm going to do.

I dont know either. But I have to do something. I do believe lc is the way to go, but I need to change my approach I think. I jsut feel like I am hitting a brick wall.

I am getting all riled up over htat Liverpool banning Mcdonalds Happy Meals thread.

Some people are way too earthy crunchy zealots.

Sorry for being so negative-it does sound sensible and I'm sure it works for people who stick with it. I just wouldn't.

The phrase "fat free milk products" makes me feel

I can't do cereal-even sugarless-if I start I will eat the whole box. And about halfway through I would start pouring sugar on it anyway.

Fruits, I love and actually can do in moderation, but if I make them a big part of my regular menu (5 a day like the stupid food pyramid says), then I crave white sugar.

I don't like pasta, whole grain or not. I like potatoes, rice, etc. but can do without them, so that part is just meh, whatever.

Banning Happy Meals? WTF. Yes I know I should not buy my kids Happy Meals. But reality is, sometimes we're going to go to McDonalds and I rather have them have a smaller portion than buy them the adult size. Fuck off.

God I'm crabby. Here are 2 pieces of good news.

1)My monitor and printer arrived yesterday, so I am expecting my computer today or tomorrow!

2)My ex-nemesis (she is not even good enough to be a nemesis anymore, now she just plain sucks) put in her resignation yesterday!!! I would have rather had her be fired, but this is OK too. I really cannot even stand the sight of her.

Exactly one of the points I made, Jen.

Anyway, I am turning into a person I hate...I am returning tons of crap that I bought this week, just so I can have some money. I am returning abouit 30 worth of makeup to CVS, and I am returning a $35 sweater I bought last month to NY&CO, and I am also hoping I still have the recepit to lane bryant, so I can return one of the pairs of $40 jeans I bought. I am just trying to soften the blow of that $800 check for my trip to Cancun
