I think we need to question whether or not these scientists had had their morning cup of coffee before evaluating the results! That could make all the difference!

Well, I've been doing low carb long enough that I'm nonplussed by invisible carbs which may or may not be in my joe. I'm having a weird reaction to coffee right now too, my cheeks get beet red. *cry* don't make me have to quit my lovely coffee!

Follow-up

Ive called 2 times since I last posted and seem to be missing her. I must admit I am not terribly motivated to 'prove' there are carbs in coffee. LOL

I am still counting the carbs in my coffee, however. *grins*

I will try again to reach her.. meantime *peace & best wishes to all on their WOL!*

Cheers*

Terra

I've been real confused about the corolation myself. (I'm on Atkins and have never given up coffee personally)... but please remember, coffee raises cortisol levels in your body which contributes to AGING & WEIGHT GAIN. On the other hand, Green tea (also WITH caffein) helps to LOWER cortisol levels even though it does contain caffein. Damn! Why can't I switch over to green tea?!?! I seem to never practive what I preach. In case you're wondering, I learned this from Ted Broer (who has major credentials and is the best nutrition guru I've ever heard speak).

Great! ... Now if I could just keep staying away from that LC International Delights Flavored Creamer.
