I notice a lot of beer choices. My DH lost his beer belly be changing to lc Michelobe when it first came out, never did nor does he do lc now. But drinks that beer. LOL

I also notices choices of coke or pepsi. Me, give me a mountain dew, breakfast lunch dinner and nite time snack. Of course it helped washdown my 2-4 dounuts every morning, along with susie Qs at lunch then a couple ding dongs or twinkies at dinner. I chose cake/pastry. I'm truely addiced to sugar. Could eat it by the spoon full and sometime did. YUCKY. So sad to think about it.

For me I think the biggest thing was pastries and such...also things like bagels for breakfast and always always orange juice.

Fast Food...I am a fast food junkie...loved McDonalds, Buger King, Wendy's, TacoBell...WaWa subs

I still like those places, but only on occasion...and no fries now and no buns :-)
GOD I LOVE LOW CARB....

Wink Low carb is the most valuble diet on this planet.

There is not one particular product that I can blame. They all acted in this crime as a team. Bread, rice potatoes were almost a daily part of my day. I went well beyond one serving of each of those. A piece of fruit here, A Snicker bar or ice cream there. My favorite snack was a bowl of lays potato chips and a bowl of oreo cookies. You know those are not just for breakfast anymore. Low carb consumptiom was just way out of control and it never got the blame for anything.

I'm running with the majority when I say "bread products." I have always loved sandwiches, and one of the delights of eating this way is that all my favorite sandwiches are low carb...once I leave off the bread!

I wouldn't actually say I'm 'addicted' to carbs, but I sure did love them!

my body didn't though

my diet consisted of high fat and high carb, lots of sugar, cakes, cookies, candy, rice--love rice!, potatoes made every way imaginable, I was very creative with potatoes, breads, pastries, on and on

the hardest part for me was that until I was 35 I ate like that and never gained a pound, unbelievable as that might sound

I weighed 105 lbs from the time I was 13 until 35 or so, then the lbs. just kept creeping on until I was over 140 lbs.

yep, the good times were over

My problem was that I loved to cook, even more than I love to eat! So I was thinking about food, recipes, menus, food shopping, cooking, and serving it to my family (husband and 3 6'4" sons) all the time. With that comes a lot of tasting, so when I finally sat down at the table, I had already eaten a full meal in the kitchen. BTW, I was a really good baker, too. I miss all that, but I wouldn't go back now.

for me is was pasta... I would make it and then keep eating it... and it would then lead to other things like ice cream and such... or pumpernickel bread slathered in butter

I'd have to say potatoes....FRENCH FRIES to be exact. Until about a month ago I had been eating fries from fast food places about 3 or 4 times a week. Sometimes twice a day!! Plus usually making some kind of potatoes to go with dinner at home..
