Jess-- I am so glad you like these!

Also, for anyone REALLY nervous about trying these, just cut the recipe by 2/3 and make 2 buns.

1 egg white, 1 egg yolk, 1/3 packet splenda, a pinch of cream of tartar and one ounce of CC. It's less daunting when you start with a tiny batch.

Sorry to keep hounding this, but 1/3 of the actual "old" recipe would be 1 TABLESPOON of cream cheese.

Right, Elle, but these are my new and improved rolls! They are moist and supple, unlike the old rolls. I use 3 ounces of cream cheese... not 3 Tbsp.

And, here they are as cream puffs!

These are as good as the real thing. No, better than the real thing, because they're only 8 carbs net per puff!

Cleo's are MUCH better than the "old" ones!!!

Only prob with mine are the tops (the peaks) flake off. The rest is good though. I think I may use too much cream of tarter or just whip the whites a little too much.

I showed them to one of my managers at work today (she loves to see the strange things I come in with) and she said they looked great!

Pghlady-- I use 1/8 of a tsp of cream of tarter per recipe. Note I say per recipe, because I'm always having to make more. My family eats them up!

I think it is so neat that you can share these with others! Way to go on great-looking buns!

I enjoyed them so much when I made them the other night, that I have a double batch in the oven as I post this. Can't wait to have a cinnamon one fresh out of the oven (butter, cinnamon, and splenda sprinkled on).

We JUST got out first Sonic in the area a few weeks ago! Do you tell them to skip the bun when you order? I have stopped there twice and loved the burgers. Only thing is I know they have those cheesecake bits. I have to remember to stay away from those!

I always order with the bun because it's easier that having to deal with folks who have no clue why I'd want a burger plain. and then half of them put the burger squashed into the hot dog tray. Plus, with the bun, the meat stays insulated longer, especially if I need to run food home.

I've heard so much about how great these are as opposed to the original one that i HAVE to try it. Unfortunately I ran out of cream cheese But I'm so determined to make this NOW that I am going out to buy some more. I will post back with my thoughts on it! Thanks Cleo!

Oh. My. God. You are my new hero, Cleo!!

I was nervous at first to taste it because I was thinking it just might taste eggy. AND IT DOESN'T! It has the same texture inside as bread and is sooo good! I can't wait to do other things with this! THANK YOU CLEO!!!!!

And yes, this Oopsie Roll is so worthy of MANY exclamation points!!!! lol
