I've used so many different kinds of lotions and creams, but couldn't say how much better one was than the others. Something with coco butter is suppose to be good. I'm thinking of mixing some of my coconut cooking oil and olive oil together with some lotion I already have and use that. They are both really good for your skin. I'll let you know how that works. I'll probably be an oil slick!! lol
You might want to think about getting yourself either a gym log or journal.
Don't worry about one side being a little different than the other. My right and left sides have always measured about .5 inch to an inch different.

Baranzen: "stone" is a term of measurement. 1 stone = 14 lbs. It's how some people in England measure their weight. I think I have that right. A friend was just trying to explain it to me yesterday.

xnikx, you need to start your gym log or journal now and keep us updated on what all you are doing at the gym, and any other times you are exercising. And you can also post your meals, and your thoughts on things. Give a little information about yourself and your life. But you need to have your own journal or gym log to do that. O.K.?

Just a small comment, when I first started weight training my muscles did get bigger but as my water retention went away (took about a month maybe 2) my muscles weren't so big. My trainer said that its normal that way. so don't be scared

This is not a bad idea since your primary goal is to lose unwanted bodyweight. On the other hand, resistence training can be a positive thing in all of this as well. Prepare yourself mentally so that when the time comes, you'll be ready.

Are you eating properly? If you need help with your meal plans, post what you're eating. Take measurements now, then you can better see the weight coming off. You do need to start slowly, you don't want to become discouraged.

Good advice. Keep in mind your ultimate goals. Stick with it on good days and bad. A year from now you'll be a different person, if you'll stick with it. In a year you can be 100 pounds lighter, and feel a whole lot better, or you can be just as you are today, or worse. Your future is in your hands. I love this quote: Don't sacrifice what you want most, for what you want now.
