I have two short skirts that I've started wearing around instead of casual capris. Number 2 son commented today that the muscles in my calves look impressive. 'Impressive' ! These are the calves that were the bane of my teenage existence, boots have always been a no-go area for me...but I spent the whole day trying to get a glimpse of those calves, and you know? I think he might just be right!!

Cleft! It's called a chin cleft! I've got mine back too. It's not pronounced but I can feel it. I haven't felt it in a long, long time. I also like feeling the veins popping out of my arms. Every once in a while I'll notice a new vein and it's nice.

PS - Glad you're back.

Ugh! Know just what you mean with this. I still wear my tanks though. I found that if I hold my arms a certain way it doesn't look too bad lol. (Notice the avatar pic - totally forgot to hold them "special". But hey it was Michael Rooker - I pretty much forgot everything at that point lol

Mine have some pretty flabby hanging stuff too but I'm trying to ignore it. I haven't worn sleeveless anything in .. um... ever ... and I've decided that I am going to do it now. Also rocking the strapless bra look...

Ah thanks I like the vein thing too. I go and reach for something heavy and notice in my hands and forearms veins and muscles popping.

I am starting to get that way on the feet as well..

Glad to be back

Good for you!!!Post a pick! I haven't braved the strapless bra yet. Cause of being a 40F size. Heck I actually were a slinger on top of the bra for support.

best thing I did was buy a bathing suit!!! Absolutely love it...

Oh I had to buy a new one too! We have a pool and a hot tub so I do need to have a suit around. When it's just my husband and me (and some of my girlfriends, we swim and hot tub au naturel and if it's family, I will still wear one that is waaaay too big and stretched out -- the chlorine makes them fall apart. But I do have a new one that looks OK.

I'll try to post a pic of the strapless (with a top over it of course!!) when I get my act in gear.

I think I just realized that by BMI standards, I fall into this 100+ lbs or more to lose just like you guys do! I think I'm supposed to weigh about 140 according to my height, so that puts me at 104 lbs to lose in total. So far, I've only made it to 62 lbs, but that is okay! I'm still going!

I doubt I will ever make it to 140 in weight, and I'm okay with that. I'll be happy to be in the 160's range, and then we'll see what happens next. :-)

So wow, this is my first stop here in the Triple Digits Club. I'm glad I stopped in! This thread sure has inspired me!

Something I am happy about when it comes to my weight loss is the slowly developing 'normal' chin. A chin that is less fat, not a double chin, well, close to not being a double. Fact is, I was not born with much of a neck/chin to start with. No idea why me. Everyone else in my family has a nice profile, but not me. Never me.....

But it's smaller now, and if I hold my head high, you can't tell too much that I don't have much of a chin! And I SHOULD be holding my head high, right??!!! I've been successful at this LC WOE and a lot of it is because of you good folks, who have helped me and inspired me along my journey! ~THANK YOU!~

What to look forward to? Being able to see my 'privates' for the first time in years--because I don't have to look in a mirror?!! Oh yes, tis true, painfully red-facingly true! I have not been able to look 'down there' to see any of my bits because my belly has always been too big!!

Don't ask me why--but I know when I can see what I've got, without having to look in a mirror or use a camera to take a photo to make sure everything is at it should be-LOLOL!--that I have made great progress!!!!!!!!

Okay, you can close your mouths now--I know it is brutally honest, hahaha, but COME ON you guys!!! I KNOW I'm NOT in the water alone here, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight ladies and gents????

SOMEONE HAD TO SAY IT!!!!!!

Sure! I'm not sure I'll get to that point without surgery to remove extra skin but I'm ruling out the possibility yet!

Last night I went to a concert (Queen and Adam Lambert) and was comfortable in the stadium seating. Fifty pounds ago, I would have been secretly hoping that it was over before it started.

I here you on the chin, I love seeing the little indentation in it know. I love not seeing a puffy face too!

Sad to say, I also probably will never see my private parts either without skin removal... I have way to much excess down there.

Brutally honest uh? I like that.. So, I will join you, I love when I pee, the pee goes into the bowl and not on my inner thigh then into the bowl any more!

It is nice to here the flood and not a delayed trickling waterfall...

I also love not getting the rashes as much with the skin folds...I barely get them know. Although I do have one around my navel which I never get.

It would be nice to see my navel, but again I don't think that will happen with out surgery.

HI All,
I just started in June and haven't had major success yet, but I DO LOVE the way my relationship with food has changed. I'm
taking back control, stepping back form the brink...making a decision for me, DOING something about the situation instead of just dreaming, wishing, thinking about it. Dreaming of days of old, wishing I wasn't so fat and getting fatter, and constantly thinking about FOOD! I am in a good place mentally. Can't underestimate the power of chemical reactions in the bod. SO, mentally/emotionally, I feel in control. That's a great feeling!

We just hit the triple digits in heat this week - and for the first time it's not bothering me. I used to start melting when the temperature hit 90 - & the horrible chafing of my thighs & under my bra were painful.

Now no pain & no melting. I still have energy in spite of the heat!

Heres an interesting one. Yesterday at work I was freezing, its hot outside, the air con was at full pelt and I complained that I was cold. My "larger" colleague said " Its because you're too skinny, you need to put on weight"!!!! Hhhhmm, very flattering, BUT, I was so tempted to say the opposite to her (Its because you're too fat, maybe you should lose some weight???) No, that's not polite is it!!! So I just put a cardigan on and today I'm dressed for winter. But its an interesting comment when you think about it - Is it flattering???
