So Today I was going to go to this class called - Body Pump - Never had been before.. showed up on time and looked in the class room. nothing but women.. haha .. ironic that this site is 80% women too but it doesnt bother me on here. They had the steps out and matts and a barbell and dumbells. looked kinda fun but it was packed and I didnt know what to do .. so it pansy'd out.

Went and did 30 minutes on my running machine / 400 Calories
20minutes on the Eliptical/ 250 Calories
15Minutes on a Hill program on the Treadmill / 150 Calories

I did not do my workout like I was supposed to I might go back later for that or do some of it at home - Lunges and Crunches

Hi Andy. Its funny how the sexes never like to work out in front of each other isn't it? When I went to the old (unisex) gym here it didn't bother me much, but it sure bothered my work out partner, so much so that she just stopped going. *sigh. Can I tell you my experience when I was a newbie at the gym that sorta changed my mind about it all.
Well I'm gonna tell ya anyway.
I was on the pec deck and pretty much right in front of me was the ab roller and a mat. This young good looking fella comes out of the weight room at the back. and sorta glances over my way. and I'm all self-consious about it and he's obviously wasting time, reading posters etc. And I'm thinking Hey! if he's done back there I can go do my weights now! So I quickly finish up and when I got away from the pec deck, he goes and uses the Ab roller! See if I had been on the pec deck he would pretty much be working out at my feet. So, we're all selfconsious about it I guess. Here I am --middleaged, obese of course I'm selfconscious about it.. But there's this guy, young good-looking, have NO idea why he's self conscious about it at all! That sorta woke me up.. after that I never let it bother me and actually had some good convos with fellas in the cardio and weight rooms! Just thought I'd share so you know you're not alone.

Havent decided yet - Ive stepped back on the weights for a lil bit to test if I can get the weight moving again. I'll probably get back into it after awhile.

Afraid if I do one day of carbs I'll not be able to recover very well.

6 Guys in the Class a couple really fit ones.. then me and an old fat guy.

It was called Body Combat - Basically a KickBoxing Style Class .. was kind of cool want to try out a couple others before I bring it into my routine.

had a full shirt of sweat though.. I definitely got a workout.. was just hard to follow along to some of the moves.

Didnt work out this weekend. Plan to today though.

Carbed up a little bit. Had Beer Saturday night - boo It was like 4 keg cups of Bud Light - I couldnt help myself.. it was free and I'm a sucker for free. Then I had probably 10-12 strawberries on sunday and I put some lower carb barbecue sauce on some spare ribs I made but It was probably too much. I dont have any strips to test so we'll see.

trying to decide if i want to go crazy exercise man to try and reach this months goal - or just be happy with the 7 or 8 lbs down and move onto next month.

haha - good ole big sis trying to look out

So - I did semi crazy - and we'll see the results tommorrow

1:09 Minutes on "my" machine - 999 Calories burned

Then Did Reverse Hanging Crunches.. Then did some regular crunches ..

Then 20 Minutes on the Bike - with random resistance ( learned I hate riding the bike - went like 5 miles but only like 200 calories and it was boring

Then 20 Minutes on the Elliptical - Didnt count calories for some reason but should be around 350 - 400

After all that - I weighed myself.. staying hydrated and using supplements after and I weighed the same as this morning. So I'm hoping tomorrow's loss should look good :-D If not - we'll see .. I have a rollerblading partner tomorrow - as long as its not raining.. hopefully it goes better than last time .. but i'm 50lbs lighter so it might.

I went rollerblading for 45minutes to an Hour it wasnt too high intensity but I did much better than last time and I did have a couple sprints in there to get my heart rate up and a couple big hill climbs to get up and over a big bridge.

Did 30 Minutes on "my" machine before I did the kickboxing class again. 420 Calories burned

The Roomate ditched me on the class.. yeah " I'll meet you there " and never showed up. Thats ok alot of different people there today. I didnt do it as high intensity as last time.. less jumping around.. because I was beat from the 30 minute machine workout and only had a 5 minute break between the two, and I cramped up really bad in the middle of it. Yet didnt stop! luckily it went away.
