This hasn't been a good week for exercise and I miss it.
Tonight 30 min on the treadmill, finished reading Keeping Secrets by Suzanne Somers and started a book I think called Try This - I'll have to get the title and author. It's a foodie lovers book
Keeping Secrets was a surprise - I didn't realize how much she went thru in her childhood. Being an adult child of an alcoholic, her early adulthood was pretty messed up too - very helpful information for me in this book. The family got sober and healed - not all at once but it was encouraging to read.

Valentines Day! I did 30 min on the treadmill.

Didn't make the 2 hr goal but did 1 hr this week. Will strive for the goal next week. As of Tues I will be staying with my petsitter (I think...) until I move out of CA and go see my best friend in Atlanta for a little while (or longer - depends) - life will change quite a bit for me.

Fri 30 min treadmill
Sat 30 min treadmill

total 1 hr

30 min on treadmill - reading Try This: Traveling the Globe without Leaving the Table by Danyelle Freeman...very entertaining book by a foodie who goes into the history and her experiences with food from around the world...I am learning things She is a lot more adventurous than I am with food - there are many things I just can't bring myself to eat...

30 min on the treadmill - still reading Try This. Hoping to get more exercise in but busy today packing out of my last petsitting job and cleaning up. Garage kitty needs some serious attention and that will be time-consuming.

35 min walk today in St Helena. Had to go for my 12 month post op appt at the surgeons office and it is so lovely out there I found a good place to pull off and park my truck and took a nice walk along one of the pretty roads. I am usually rushing back to work or to an appt and don't take the time but today I had the time.
This is the area - not my pic.

**That was all the exercise for that week. Moving across the country, driving now with my cat.

This hardly seems worth the post but I'll post it - 10 min walk to Denny's from Motel 6, Shawnee, OK. At least I walked for take out. Not a lot of time or energy on this trip - up early and driving 9-10 hours with stops for me and the cat - nighttime is preparing for the next day and setting kitty up for some normalcy while we're in the room. I have a day and a half left of driving and then will resume some regular exercise.

Arrived in Atlanta - went for a 35 min walk with my best friend. Nice area. It is very spring-like here, daffodils are just starting to bloom - tomorrow it's supposed to be very cold - below freezing. Storm coming in - on the radio all day driving here they were calling it Ice-Apolcalypse.

Walked an hour to the famous cemetary and did see the Unknown Confederate Soldiers monument. It makes me so sad for some reason...it's hard not to walk around this area and not envision what was taking place in the Civil War. Grant Park has cannons at the entrance.
I am enjoying people's yards - lots of hellebore here - I don't see it around much - daffodils are up, some crocus, forsythia, hyacinths and some fruit trees are in bloom now, also the star magnolia trees.
