Karen......

Thank You for being the driving force behind those dinners and for treating us one more time to your culinary expertise. I believe that the most nourishing food is that which is served up with love. I think it's the secret ingredient in all that you prepare. Again......thank you for the generosity of your spirit.

Now.....to the food I devoured last night...

The Creamy Chanterelle Mushroom & Miso Soup was delicious. Smooth and creamy and beautifully presented wih the nori afloat.

The Proscuitto, Egg Cheese Colaziaone...beautiful to look at and a delight for the palate.

The Grilled Pork Rack Chop was absoluely awesome and a hearty winter offering that made me look forward to cooler weather. The almond and ginger chutney a delightful counterpoint and the roasted daikon a hit with everyone.

The Grand finale...the Avocado Expresso Mousse and the Serendipity Biscotti completed the feast. The Mousse was both a surprise and a delight. Dessert perfection in combination with the biscotti.

Thank you for one more display of why there is no reason on earth to eat any other way besides LC.

Marlaine

That's my motivating force behind the LC Dinners. To show others that it is a great way to eat and never has to get boring.

Talking

Wow. I'm back on the Island and feeling oh so satisfied and oh so lonely ALL at the same time.

What a night . What a meal . What company!

I certainly can't add to Marlaine's delightful description, other than to say the wine choices, especially the Vinho Verde that started off the night as we walked in to our seats, were particularly well-chosen accompaniments to the perfect lowcarb winter-warmer meal.

Wow.
