Science-ey website referencing a recent study with interesting comments:

Dr. Briffa (a British physician) references a couple here:

Here’s the abstract for one those named by Dr. Briffa, from the journal. It’s a meta-analysis (study of studies), but read the conclusion.

This one makes great reading! It was written in response to the new Dietary Guidelines.
