LOL. So am I the only one telling myself I'm going to have Pizza and Beer (Sam Adams) for dinner topped off by a chocolate cream pie? I know this is the wrong attitude, and I probably won't follow through with it, but it's a good "carrot on a stick" for me.

I guess with most of us women, being able to find clothes that fit well and look good on us is in the Top 5 "Things I'm Going To Do When I Reach My Goal" list (you too, guys...go ahead...admit it). It doesn't mean we're vain, just tired of having to settle for what we can find (maybe you can tell I've had to struggle with this question?)!!!

So, having said that, I have to return to one of the 1st posts in my journal now and then, just to keep it real...
  • I'm 43 years old...with scars! There is no string bikini waiting for me at the end of all this! Not unless I want to scare little children...
  • I'll never be a size 12...may have to re-think that one. Our last franchise inspector (filled in for our regular inspector) is female, 6"1, has a large frame like me (big feet, hands, and wide shoulders), and is a size 6! Granted, she is underweight (by her own admission), but I have to wonder!
Yes, I will go shopping...and, like another post I read in this thread, I'll be looking for "that little black dress"...plus a really nice-fitting pair of jeans...plus tops that aren't 2 sizes too big cuz' I want to hide in them...and, even though I'm 5'9, HEELS!

I just pray that I don't kill my fool-self trying to walk in the damned things!

Hi, Isn't this fun? I've laughed my head off reading alot of these replies.

When I reach my goal, like a couple of you others, I'd like to run in a marathon! Just always appealed to me to not feel pain when I run and to raise $ for a good cause to boot! Also, the awesome fitting jeans would be great, to go biking with my kids, to ride in carnival rides...just be more confident!

I am going to go shopping, especially in that store that sells only revealing clothes! All my size 4 friends shop there and I hate that! I will get a bathing suit but due to surgery scars I don't think anyone wants to see me in a 2 piece! I have avoided night clubs since my weight gain. I will go to a night club and have fun for once! I avoid so many places because I'm insecure about my weight, I can't wait to go to all those places.

Like I've said before-I want a tacky, fitted, fringed leather jacket. Pair it with some skinny tight jeans and I'll finally be ready for what I really want when I lose weight-a hunky sex partner!
