[FONT=Arial Black]Hi all -
I'd like to join in & agree with posting daily eats & weekly weigh in.
I'm new to this posting business, though so bear with me as I figure out all your shortcuts and lingo, thanks!

I'm also from the Treasure Coast, right up hurricane alley, and with not much else but cheese balls and diet coke for a couple of weeks, well, I'm up 10 pounds....

but what comes up will come down. Cheers to all & happy Monday. Gotta run - all this water, you know! And yes, 30min exercise, 3 days a week.

Thanks again,
finngal

Hi everyone,

WELCOME Donna

I too am trying to use the my plan tool. This website is awesome.

I am going to try some form of exercise 3 times this week and see how it goes. I suffer from an arthritic condition that isn't into remission YET YET YET but hopefully exercise will help. I have an OK from the doctor but another appointment later this month. I'd like to go in saying hey, I exercised 3 times a week these past few weeks!

Food for today:

Breakfast 2 eggs with 1 oz feta cheese
Lunch: small Greek salad with dressing and 1/2 pork chop
Dinner: Stopped by the Greek restaurant and they insisted on sending me home with dinner. Grilled chicken on top of YES you guessed it a Greek salad.

Baby: The article was in woman's world and a recent one. I found it in a hospital waiting room so can't tell you which week It was on the front page.

I too have a scale obsession but ..... maybe it keeps me on track? All I can think of today is the low carb cheesecake factory cheesecake. I am trying not to eat any desserts for awhile yet and today I passed up a pot luck lunch at the office. The food was unbelievable. People kept trying to get me to eat something but nope nope nope I was a good girl!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Default Day nine/Phase One

Welcome to the challenge finngal.. glad you joined us.

Redhead, I'm going to have to make a trip to the store to see if I can find that issue. I was craving something sweet tonight, so I think I am going to make a low carb cheese cake.

Here is the recipe I am going to use

Low-Carb Chocolate Cheese Cake

3 8 oz. packages of low fat cream cheese
3 eggs
2 tsp. of Davinci Gourmet Sugar Free syrup
2 tspn of coco powder
1/2 cup of splenda

Will bake mix on 325 until done and top with redi whip.

I've never cooked it before, but will experiment tonight.

Today: 2/7/04

30 min. work out - Walk away the pounds
Breakfast- pepper jack cheese w/scrambled eggs
1 turkey sausage
decaff coffee with whip cream

Lunch- 6 small chicken wings
cup of rotel dip

Dinner-Carb Focus soup
small side salad

hopefully-cheesecake for dessert..LOL(depending on how it comes out)

1 16 oz. diet peach snapple
1 gallon of water

I am really excited about this Mother's Day challenge... it is really helping to keep me focused and on track.

Happy low-carbing everyone!

Denise

finngal Another Floridian! Welcome!

Baby I am confused you eat chicken wings on SB? I tried doing SB but no couldn't transition into phase 2 without cravings once I had a half bagel or oatmeal or ww pasta or what ever grain I tried to incorporate. Just drove me crazy with cravings. Shure was good goin down! And oh those beans problem for me was even tho I stuck to plan the weight just didn't come off. Lost only 2 pounds on phase 1 My body just didn't like it. So back to Atkins for me.

I have a cheese cake recipe that I haven't made yet. Saw it on Paula Deen but will make it sugar free. She used the mini muffin pans and put a reeces peanut butter cup in each one! Then put the cheesecake filling on top OMG they looked like they were to die for!

I haven't done any exercise yet today.......either saving it for tomorrow or doing to do the hula for a half hour

Let me know how that cheesecake comes out I might have to try it with a little sour cream and vanilla extract on top!

Yeah, I eat chicken wings on South Beach, I always have. Baked not fried, most of the time we bake them and put buffalo wing sauce on them. This time they were just seasones with black pepper and lime juice very good. I still lose weight when I eat them. I guess that is just something that I have "added" to the plan to personalize it. LOL

The cheesecake was actually good. It didn't have a crust, but I just sprayed pam in the pan before I put in the mix. I let it cool and put redi whip on top. It was really good.

Oh yeah I used 1 cup of splenda instead of 1/2 and I used Davinci Vanilla Sugar free syrup to give it a little kick.

Morning Y'all

OK this is scary. Scale reads 158 this morning. That would mean another 2.5 pounds gone. Can this be correct? I almost fell off the scale. I kept hopping back on and even got the old scales out of the closet. I have never lost weight this fast before. I have done Atkins in the past but sure don't remember it coming off this fast.

I know I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth but I feel like I am dreaming!

Super job, all! Hearing about your success makes us smile
What a great motiviating tool this is...

yesterday:
omelet w/cheese, tomatoes & dolphin (yes, fish!)
two 6oz packs of tuna w/ splash of mayo
rotisserie chicken breast w/ splash of ranch dressing
two turkey/muenster roll ups
three eggs scrambled
oops on about 5 whoppers, but drank literally a TON of water and a diet coke

Also, eating every 3-4 hours instead of b,l &d so there's five seperate meals there. Got a kid with a fever so no exercising yet, but I never get to sit on the couch because of chores that need to be done and a big garden to keep up with; some folks call that exercise!

Yes, another florida girl & I just gotta tell someone - we finally got a new roof this weekend, hip hip hooray...the tarps were starting to thin and tear.

Have a super day and hopefully we'll all be losers by the time the end of the week rolls around! gotta stay away from those whoppers....

Got room for one more? I really, really need some motivation to get the scale moving (in the right direction) again! I've been bouncing back and forth from 146-150 since last October.

I'd like to see 135 by Mother's Day. Well, really, any number that is lower than 140 would be great! I'm really trying hard to get motivated again. I turn 40 (ouch!) in June, then will become a grandma in September! I was having a hard enough time dealing with the approaching 4-0, now a grandma, too? Gee, how much trauma is a girl supposed to deal with in one summer?

Anyway, the scale is back up to 149 this morning....ugh. I will use Friday as my official weigh in day.

Glad to be along for the journey!

Default Welcome to the Marvelous Mother's Day Challenge

Hello everyone....

Hope your weeks are going great. I didn't get a chance to work out this morning, trying to "doctor" on my sick 4 year old. But I did manage to get a new Walk away the pounds DVD with the 1 and 2 mile workout. So, I will definitely get at least the one mile work out done in the morning.

Here is the new list, and don't forget to post your weight changed or unchanged each week. If I missed anyone just copy and paste this list and add your name.

Thanks
Denise

I got really turned around (confused) using the MyPlan program.. so I guess I'll just stick to the old fashioned way of logging what I eat.

Breakfast- Slim fast low carb shake
Snack #1- Handful of turkey pepperoni two wedges of laughing cow light
spreadable swiss cheese.

Lunch-Carb Focus soup 1/2 can
5 oregano and garlic cheese crackers

Snack #2-Pickle slice

Dinner- Chicken Caesar Salad
small slice of chocolate cheesecake

Snack#3 sugar free popsicle

1 gallon water
1 sugar free strawberry water

Can't wait to do my 1 mile walk in the moring.
