Hey Freckles - I didn't mean to imply you were starving yourself. I was refering to the low cal/low fat diets I struggled with in the past that had me trying to survive on 1200 calories and I was miserable.
No worries. I just didn't want anyone to think that I was <trying> to keep my cals low and going hungry because of it. I am one of the fortunate ones that never even tried a low fat/low cal diet. I am very glad of that and sorry for those who did.

I don't count calories at all. When I am truly, strictly paleo I lose weight at the rate of 1-2lbs a week. If I introduce a bit of dairy or (gasp) artificial sweeteners (or even more than a smidge of fruit) my weight loss slows substantially. Doing the Whole30 Challenge this month has caused me to lose AT LEAST ten pounds! I am currently wearing my goal clothes!
