No worries. I just didn't want anyone to think that I was <trying> to keep my cals low and going hungry because of it. I am one of the fortunate ones that never even tried a low fat/low cal diet. I am very glad of that and sorry for those who did.

I track, I find i have to, if i dont my body seams to go into maintenance mode and I naturally eat about 4000 cals a day (my calculated BMR is 3800)

I use a great iphone app by vidaone called mypersonal diet, which also syncs to a PC desktop app for greater analysis

Nope. Don't count calories, don't count kilojoules: couldn't be bothered, too much of a burden, plus it involves constant daily exposure to maths. Ick.

I don't count calories at all. When I am truly, strictly paleo I lose weight at the rate of 1-2lbs a week. If I introduce a bit of dairy or (gasp) artificial sweeteners (or even more than a smidge of fruit) my weight loss slows substantially. Doing the Whole30 Challenge this month has caused me to lose AT LEAST ten pounds! I am currently wearing my goal clothes!
