It's amazing how little steps can keep you going. For example, I recently bought a pair of jeans that were way too small for me and every few days i try them on and they fit a little bit more. It's a small source of inspiration.

Tomorrow I am going low carb once again to get back down to my low carb lifestyle weight. Why I ever stopped I don't even want to think about.

Yay for me for stepping up to the plate again.

Good for you to jump back in again. My whole body feels so much better: skin, muscles, moods, almost feel cleansed within.

That's a good idea. I may need to try that also.

I'm still in my "inbetween pants", but they are fitting looser now.

Well, I apparently made the mistake when I was at my low in August to have all my pants altered and taken in, SO, there's no way the former clothes will fit for a while! Yikes!

I'm a fan of Goodwill shopping though, so I may treat myself to a few "new" pants this weekend. Yeah!

This week went very well...

3 pounds lost on the average weight, 5 pounds lost on the lowest weight to lowest weight recorded last week and this week, and 4 pounds lost on the Sat to Sat weights.

Not bad for 14 weeks into the plan, I'd say!

This is not going to mean a lot to anyone but me, most people are not even going to understand either...lol, but to me, it was a very big deal

Yesterday, at my daughter's baby shower, I was sitting on the sofa with 2 other ladies. It was sorta crowded so I crossed my legs....ok, like I said, this is not a big deal, but I haven't been able to do that in years..LOL, not without having my foot jacked up in the air sideways, hehe. I actually was comfortable sitting there with my legs crossed!

I have been very diligent this week. Normally, this would be a week of water retention & cravings (and subsequently eating more allowed foods to combat them), so I continued with my plan as normal.

Last night we all went to Coldstone Creamery after Amanda's preschool Christmas program. I didn't have anything...I don't want to break my plan, even with the 'sugar free.' I could have crossed the street and gotten a flavored coffee from Starbucks, but I just didn't want it. I could have had some chocolate whipped cream when we got back home, but I just didn't feel the need for it.

I hit a new low of 154 today after being 156-157 all week, and I'm down 1.3 pounds from last week on the daily average weight.

All this with my Mom visiting, throwing my normal routine out the window, and the stress associated with that alteration of my normal, usually causing me to pig-out after a few days! But I have felt calm and in control.

Wow, Elle! You are doing great. Congrats!

I am right on top of TOM (due Monday) and I did well up until today...when we made cookies. But even then I didn't "overdo" it...though I did indulge.

Conversely I'm VERY motivated to keep working out and really pushed myself Friday at the gym...felt great!

Wow...now you see I think that is a HUGE deal. I've noticed it easier to cross my legs too (though I don't do it a lot). It's about comfort and flexibility, right? Awesome!

I survived my second Christmas party cheat free so I am happy about that!
Even more important though, I am not letting the scale (which is all over the place this week) discourage me. I am just sticking to plan and noticing the changes in the mirror.

I just realized...on January 1, 2007 I will be 365 days cheat free, eating only meat, eggs, veggies, and dairy.

Crazy!
