I am up .6 lbs today. My streak is over. I did not have much of anything yesterday and my cals were only at 966, so I am kind of disappointed. I was expecting a loss. Just goes to show you that you never can predict how your body is going to work on a daily basis.
I know it is only water, I am still expecting a whoosh some day this month.
CRICKET - Remember that when you have a headache and need aspirin, always follow the directions written on the bottle:
Take 2 aspirins and KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN! I'm glad you survived the child fiasco with a sane brain.
And congrats on that 2 lb loss! I hope it sticks! By the way, 4am is an ungodly hour. But I seem to wake up at that time everyday, mostly due to the hungry hippos. I did manage to sleep until 5:30 today for a change!
CHRISSIE - I am climbing the slide right now and so ready to slide DOWN! Enough of the Mabel Mobile - I was getting a headache from all the head banging! I may need to take two aspirins and keep away from children now.
ANN - I managed to jump on the slide today, but I have to climb the ladder first! I hope you can get out of that mobile and fly right down the slide without climbing it as I have to.
KATHY - Once again you are doing your graveyard shifts. I hope you were able to last through the night without falling asleep. I don't know how you do it. I could never work overnight. I tried 2nd shift once for a few months and by 9pm my eyes were closing. I had to get up and walk around the plant to stay awake. Coffee did not work. I was so ready to go to bed, and I had 2 hrs to go before my shift was over. I remember driving home (45 miles!!!) and I had to keep slapping my face to prevent myself from falling asleep at the wheel!!!!!
I suppose SOMEONE has to work those shifts, but I was NOT the one to do it! Good luck, my friend.
LISA - Here's hoping you are on the slide going in the right direction - DOWN!
SUNNY - You are the leader of the pack in this particular game, and this one seems to be lasting forever. Do not win it yet and give the rest of us a chance to catch up to you!!!
CATHY - I hope all is well on your end. Wishes for a Whooshie fly-by to you!
Today will be sunny and 78˚!!!!
But will rain and storm tomorrow and Monday.
I can not go visit my Mom as I have no gas and no money. We are stuck in this house for the whole Labor Day weekend unless I get a check today. I am not going to get my hopes up. I have been waiting for one and today is the last day.
At least I have some chicken in the freezer. No charcoal for the grill, so it will have to be baked, but that's OK. I LOVE baked chicken! I hope the rest of us can get out and enjoy a beautiful Labor Day weekend!!!!!!!! Take care and I will be back later.
