I'm 5'8", and would like to be in a size 8. My driver's license says 145, which I've never actually weighed. So I guess I'd like to be there to make myself honest!

I am 5"10. After a 65 pound weight loss. I fluctuate between 155 to 162. I would like to weight 150, but I can live with this.

I am 5ft 11in. My start weight was 298. So far I'm down 23#. My goal weight is 175#. But I think even if I get down to about 220# I'll look pretty decent, I have a large frame. Thats what I weighed about 10 years and 2 kids ago. Can't remember the last time I saw 175#,lol, but thats what I'm pushing for.

I'm 5 foot 3....I will know my goal weight when I see it. I think it will be higher than what I originally had set for myself, b/c of losing inches and not pounds so much. I think my goal may be more like 140.

I'm 5'7" tall and my goal weight right now is 155. When I started this WOE in February I set my goal weight at 175. When I last weighed 175 I was wearing size 13 pants. I was also in my early 20s. I'm now 52 and at 275 my size 22 pants are starting to losen up. I'm starting to wonder if my goal should be a size (I think 10 would be great) or if I should be a slave to the charts and shoot for the 155 because my BMI would be in the "normal" range. At the rate I'm going size wise, at my current goal weight of 155 I would probably be wearing between a 6 and 8. I don't think I've ever worn anything that small since I was a baby.

I'll just keep going until I look and feel the right way. Then I'll still keep on going because this is my WOL.

Get your BMI checked, don't nessecarly listen to those charts. The charts say I can be as low as 107-109 and be at 19% body fat. According to my current body fat though, I have 107-109 pounds of lean mass and getting that low would mean having 0% body fat. I think that qualifies as legaly dead :\

Go for a size that feels good to you, or gt your BMI checked and shoot for a healthy BMI. You could throw out the scale... (I don't know if I could every do that, I'm panicing about not being able to weight in for almost a week)

I think ketodiva's right... we should be more concerned with size, and less with weight. I really won't care what I weigh when I'm a size that I'm comfortable with. If I'm toned, sleek, and muscular, who cares what I weigh? (right now, I'm flabby, paunchy, and cellulite-ridden, and trying not to step on the scale every day).

I'm 5'4 with a goal of 125!

However at 150 i am still in a size 14 which is really depressing when I see that others the same height and weight are in sizes 10 and 12.

What gives?

There are ALL kinds of body types. I am "blessed" with extremely dense bones and a muscular build, so I have always weighed a lot more than my appearance indicates. I was at the doctor's office a few months ago and when the nurse weighed me she looked at me in shock -- she told me that I didn't look like I weighed nearly that much. So even though I weighed 210+ pounds then, I was a size 16, whereas my friend who is the same height and just about 10 pounds heavier is a size 22.

It's in the genes.

Jeannie
