Default carbquick question

Could someone tell me how many carbs are in 1/3 cup of carbquick? I ordered a 5 lb. bag and it just comes in a foil bag with difficult to see instructions. In fact my instructions were scratched and I couldn't read them. I found some great bisquick recipes and need a better idea about the carb count for the carbquick.

Thanks,
Jan

I wonder if I have an older box. I just picked it up last week but I got it at a local store so it may have been on the shelf for a while. I even uploaded a picture of my box to show I am not insane lol.

I'll bet that's what it is.. I do know that the earlier boxes had a different label.

You're lucky you can buy it in the store! I have to always order online.

Now I dont know how many carbs I should count and/or if I have a different formula.

Leave it to me to get the high carb batch!

Whats worse, is I just got a 5# bag yesterday from the store!
I just looked and the 5# bag doesnt have any nutritional info on it for the flour. It says 2g of carbs per biscuit just like the box does so I dont know what version I have. I guess I can write to them and ask. I would use it more often if I thought it had less carbs!

well if you look at 4beans4me's link it shows 2 carbs per biscuit also so your 5# bag is the same.

But my box also says 2g per biscuit and 4g for 1/3 cup (picture posted in earlier post) The biscuits use 20g of dry mix... hmm... wouldnt the carb count of the biscuits be lower if they lowered the carb count of the carbquick?

It says that the serving size is 1 ounce. Is 1/3 cup only 1 ounce?! That means one cup is only 3 ounces? That seems awfully low.

I know the net carbs on the recipes that are printed on the box are REALLLLLY off. The pound cake that says it is only 1 net carb, barely covers the carbquick in it let alone all of the other ingredients.

It says on that link that a biscuit should weigh 1oz but only uses 17g of carbquick per serving. It doesnt give the weight for 1/3 of a cup.

All I can say is that I think there is something fishy going on with carb quick. I will see if I can call them on monday or send them an email and see what information I can get from them.
