I have been smoke free since Feb. 11th 2008. I still must remind myself sometimes that I have chosen to be a non-smoker. I find thinking of it that way helps me more than saying that I've quit something. I have made a CHOICE not to smoke.
Do I still crave it? To be honest, yes, every once in awhile I think I would love a smoke. But I choose not to.
Simple really. After the first few weeks, it becomes totally a mental challenge.
Just make the choice.

I REALLY want to start thinking of it like this! Because it is TRUE!!
I decided, all by myself.. to stop smoking on September 15 of this year.
I have done it a few times before, and I just want to STAY non-smoking now. And I want to feel better. And to not get sick.
I want to take care of myself for real now... because this isn't even like when I first tried to quit in my 20's. It is 10 whole years later almost... and I don't want to be "trying" anymore.
I just want to stay like this!
And to remember this time, that that's what I want!
