Best way to eat for Fibros/ Elimination diet?
Hi, I was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia yesterday.
Now I've got to get back on track. My main problem is that I am constantly exhausted. I was given some muscle relaxants to help me sleep better, but I know diet is a big deal. I've been takinga multi vitamin multi mineral, calcium and vitamin D.
I've read that elimination diets seem to help people figure out what they're main problem foods are. I'm just not sure what to eliminate? I read somewhere that you should eliminate obviously wheat, sugar... then i read eggs, tomatoes, dairy, nightshade vegetables, citrus fruits, animal meats...
I'm not sure what kind of foods are left besides salad... and can someone really live on salad alone, even for two weeks?
Let me know what you guys are doing and what seems to be working. I'm also trying to uncover a pretty blatant thyroid problem as well.
