Default How many carbs per meal

Out of curiousity do you set a limit as to how many carbs are eaten at a sitting, and has this impacted your weight loss? Of course it would not make sense to have the enitre day's allotment at one sitting, but I find that my lunch is highest (a salad with turkey) is the most carbs I have at once (5-6 carbs). Otherwise it is 1-2 throughout the day with eggs cheese etc.

Thansk!

It makes sense to spread them out throughout the day. The goal is to not raise your insulin very much.
If you want to "borrow" an idea from another plan (I know you're following Atkins), Protein Power does not allow more than 10 grams per meal.

Although I don't test for ketones, I know I'm in ketosis even when following this rule.

The dreaded keto sticks. Even with the stricest adhearnce to plan I do not show ketones and wonder if it might correlate with the volume of water (150+ oz) I drink.
Sorry a seperate question.......

Can you make an example of feasible amount of safe carb sources that would provide 10 grams per meal ? (or 30 grams per meal in your case I guess)

I'm usually around 10 per meal. Sometimes, I'll cut it out at lunch so I can some berries and cream after dinner.

Keep in mind, this is from Protein Power, so there are no "unsafe" foods. All are allowed as long as you keep to the carb count.

Fruits and vegetables and dairy/cheeses can add up - at least for me - to 10g per meal fairly easily. I count all carbs. Eggs, cheeses, everything. I have a decent number of recipes that use tomatoes and tomato sauces. One of my all-time favorites is the Deep Dish Pizza Quiche. A 6th of that and a side salad easily add up to 10grams in a meal.
