Body more sensitive? Or do we just notice more?
I've had a question that I have wondered about for awhile now, wanted to see if others have experienced the same thing....
Pre LC, I ate BADLY, lucky if I ate one piece of fruit or a veggie once a month. Basically, I ate NOTHING but refined carbs, sugar, and protein. Yes, I generally felt lousy all around, but I've noticed something different since LCing, more so since I hit maintenance.
My body now tells me, almost immediately, when it is lacking (or getting too much of) something....it didn't do that before, at least not to this degree. Sure, I've learned more what minerals/vitamins provide, the foods that contain them, and the symptoms when I am not getting enough of a specific nutriant. However, my body seems to simply be reacting differently than it did pre LC.
Does LC make our bodies more sensitive, do we just notice it more because we feel better, or do our bodies work so differently that we simply need different things?
