I love making Indian food. It's filling, spicy, and I can make enough to last a few days! Just wondering if something like this, if it's not served over rice or anything - just eaten alone - would be appropriate for SB. I don't see anything on here that's restricted for Phase 1, but just wanted to check!

Ingredients

* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 2 teaspoons turmeric
* 2 teaspoons cooking oil
* 1 teaspoon onion salt
* 1 teaspoon garam masala
* 1 bell pepper, diced
* 1 tablespoon minced ginger
* 4 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 teaspoon cumin
* 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
* 1 cup water
* 1 tomato
* 1 serrano pepper, diced (optional)

Check the tomato paste ingredients and make sure you're getting one without sugar added.

If you want it to be more filling, try it over "riced" cauliflower.
