Default Today is the 1st day of the rest of my life.

Hi everyone!
I have started Atkins before, lost some and then went off it.
Looks like it will have to be a lifestyle for me.
My DH also started because of high sugars, high cholestoral and high tri-glycerides. I know he will loose faster, but that's what men can do!
I can't exercise as much as I would like because of back and ankle issues.
So.... I can only do my best.... right?

Just stopping to wish you Welcome! It is proven that men seem to drop lbs faster, but lc is the only way of life that I am able to follow and drop lbs-and not starve myself. I restarted atkins after results from the dr showed type 2 diabetic and the threat of meds. It works for me. I hope you find lots of new friends, ideas, and support here. Everyone has always been very nice, friendly, and willing to answer any and all questions-no matter how embarassing!! Welcome.
