bread
does anyone know any bread that has low in carbs? i seen one at tesco and it had 7.4g of carbs per slice, thats the best i can find does anyone know any others?
We have a local baker who makes low-carb bread for us but we can't mail-order it I'm afraid. I believe that SugarLite (www.sugarlite.co.uk) does mail order their bread as they were kind enough to send us a sample. These specialist breads come out around 2.8 carbs per slice. The other alternative is to make your own - I use Gabi Moeller's bread recipe which I can certainly dig out if it's not here somewhere already. It makes a nice nutty loaf at a similar carb count. I don't eat a lot of bread but I do miss the smell of fresh bread in the morning coming from the bread machine
Didn't I read somewhere that Nimble are making a low-carb bread or is that the one being discussed above?
