Yes, they are very evil, but you can prevail! Glad you are hopping back on the wagon!

I'm afraid to go to Kroger's... the little minions are standing outside the store, with their deceivingly cherubic innocent faces... buy some cookies Ma'am?

Yes, Girl Scout Cookies are evil. I am proud, though, that you are seeing this as a temporary setback and not an excuse to quit.

I wouldn't even buy them for Dh and the kids. i knew those would be a bad thing to have in the house. especially those thin mints. well now you had them, i'm sure they were dee lish! the box is gone , and they won't be calling out your name anymore! Glad you decided to get right back on the bandwagon and continue your lc journey.

What I want to know is when are the GS are going to come out with some lc cookies. Do you think this year they are going to see an impact because of all the lc'ing that is going on?

Good for you for getting back on track today!

I just bought four boxes of Thin Mints for my son (who loves them)! Yes, I know he doesn't need them, but he is underweight and he doesn't eat much junk food, so I wanted to get him some. I bought them for him last year as well. They honestly don't tempt me anymore. I think when you have been low carbing a while (I've been doing it for 1-1/2 years), you just don't even consider eating stuff like that anymore.

low carb girl scout cookies. yummy! boy those would be a wonderful once a year treat. once again, i don't know if i could stop eating them once i got started. they would have to sell those ones "by the cookie" and not by the box.

Welcome back on the wagon, mrjoshua!! I would eat all the vanilla ones and leave the chocolate --- but the chocolate mint -- I might call "fire" so everyone else would run away while I got them.

Ah -- fantasy is LC -- no cookies in my house!

Default GS Cookies

When the cute little girl scout came around our office thisyear, I said no thanks and didn't buy any. Yay! But then, yesterday I came home from work and my husband had bought one box of every kind! Unfortunately, they proved too tempting and I ate an entire box of the shortbread kind. He had already finished off all the Thin Mints.

Oh well, as they say, tomorrow is another day. Not very original, but true.

I cannot tell you how many cookies I have in my house and I haven't ate one......okay keep checking my journal just in case.
