hi There,

Good carbs are those which are "legal" on most LC plans...prime examples are vegetables, nuts, berries.

Bad carbs are those which we are trying to give up, and are basically sugar and or starch.

The benefits of 5grms of carbs from broccoli far outweighs that of 5gr of carbs from pasta.

Default hi

if you go to atkins center.com and look in the section "How to do Atkins"and then look under :Induction, Acceptable Foods it will tell you about the different items that are allowable while you are in induction.....and then there are more answers to what you can allow after you have completed induction..etc.

I just started myself and I found this site a great spot for some of my questions, as well as talking to the many great people here.

Good luck and have fun...
