Question sweet potato chips

oh my god. i love sweet potato chips. i know they're a little sinful but in strict moderation i don't think they will affect my blood sugar as much as a couple regular potato or corn chips becasue of their lower GI and GL. any ideas about this would be appreciated. does anyone else have a weak spot for these things?

oh and i live in portland oregon. we have Burgervilles here and they have sweet potato fries. dang! it's so hard to stay away from that place. but i do! dang!

I eat the sweet potatoe chips when I really need a chip fix and although I don't gain anything, I don't lose when I have them, even in moderation. But that's actually fine with me because when the chip fix calls, it's great to have a safer, wonderful tasting item to eat that doesn't spike my insulin levels.

OMG, tuna salad and sweet potatoe chips. Love it!

Default wow that sounds so good

wow that sounds so good

and i know what you mean.
even though my metabolism is crap I actually can handle medium GI foods really well. My problem is when i get out of control. but i do pretty well as long as i can have these little pleasures every once in a while. keeps the real cravings at bay.
