Angry ketosis resistant

Is it possible to lose on Atkins if you do not turn ketostik dark or light purple. Only one time have I gotten over a trace and then it was moderate.

That's an easy one!! The answer is YES!!!

With ketosis it's kinda like being pregnant: either you are or you aren't. If the stix are showing trace then you're in ketosis and that's all you need! Actually, the difference in pale lavendar and dark purple only measures your level of dehydration....the darker purple they are, the more likely it is that you are not drinking enough water.

So.........bottom line...........you're doing great!!!

Smile Ketostix Coasters & Placemats

I am glad to have read the post about the ketostix even showing a moderate trace as being good. I am on day #5 of Induction, know that I am not cheating, & that danged little plastic strip only showing a trace change on it! I am thinking... wtf is going on here!? It is a relief to know that not everyone shows the same on the sticks, & that I am in ketosis even with just a trace amount showing. Now the question would be,....what to do with all those strips? Make coasters? Placemats?

Default I have read and heard

I read his book and on this forum it states that you are in ketosis if it shows pink, but on Atkins tapes it says you should be in the 80s?????? I don't get it?
